Terrorism Problematic Essay

TERRORISM

Introduction

Terrorism is a serious problem. There are many causes and effects of this problem. Personally, I feel urgent means should be taken to curb this social evil. In this essay, I will discuss the problem of terrorism and its solution in detail.

 Causes

There are a number of causes to this problem. Firstly, unemployment is fast expanding its roots, giving rise to poverty, illiteracy, drug trafficking and terrorism. Moreover, the indifference and inability of the developed nations to deal with terrorism stringently has shown poor results. Lastly, the growing population in the third world countries is gibing rise to hunger, poverty, illiteracy and related social evils. This makes the poor and the needy an easy target of rationalist groups who loose no chance in using them for their anti-social motives.

Effects

Terrorism has devastating effects on society. First of all, is the loss of human lives & property. Rather than progressing ahead, social evils like terrorism take our generations away from civilized society. Furthermore, those indulging in terrorism and related anti-social activities have no respect for human lives. Last but not the least, some of the political lobbies seem to be using the  terrorist groups for their own gains.

Solutions

However, nothing is impossible. So, this problem can be solved. This can be achieved in many ways, First, solution ca be the creation of awareness and political will among all the developed and the developing nations about a zero tolerance policy towards terrorism. Next, all the nations must come together and pledge to eradicate social evils like poverty, illiteracy and human trafficking. Last of all, the governments of all the nations must commit themselves to the betterment of the society.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, I would like to say that this problem can not be solved by one individual. Rather, everyone needs to get together and fight against this evil to make the world a better place to live in.
